Politicking is a bias blog. Mike Molaro expresses his opinion on politics, social issues, and the state of the world. The idea is to see how much one man's opinion matters in a political landscape that is conniving, criminal, and cleverly propogating its formula to corrupt the minds of otherwise intelligent people. We live in a time where our access to information is abundant. The amount of alternative media popping up on the web is overwhelming. I hope to make a puddle by collecting droplets from this ocean of information. Together we can look in this mirky puddle and see what's reflected back.
All comments, suggestions, and questions will gladly be taken into consideration. If you have a really good article of your own or a particularly awesome counter argument I'll post it alongside my own. "How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think" - Adolf Hitler |
Dive in. The first essay I've posted, "Fall to Freedom" asks a lot of questions. It offers a few solutions: mainly get off your couch and educate yourself. We are allowing selfish people to use the enormous pool of U.S. tax money to achieve very specific ends. And unrest assured, these ends our rarely to the benefit of the U.S. tax payer, the U.S. citizen, or humanity. We allow it to happen through logical, though faulted reasons such as nationalism and security. But more consequently and more stupidly we allow it to happen out of laziness and out of accepting moronic social norms in the hopes of fitting in with the mainstream. Like wearing uggs and a mini skirt we've decided its trendy to hand over 40% of our wealth to assholes, demons, bigots, and well intended dupes. The mainstream is not a main stream of people, but rather a main stream of disinformation intended to produce a public that only shallowly understands the 'news'.
